The main gameplay loop consists of exploring an area, fighting enemies, finding secrets, then ending each area off with a boss fight. I also played on hardest difficulty that was available at the start, which was not as hard as many other people make it out to be. Thankfully, you CAN change it in the settings, but I found out about it half-way through the game. I don't understand why that's the case since every top-down action game has always made dash separately tied to WASD. The first thing is that I played with Mouse & Keyboard and the game for some reason ties the direction of your dash towards where you're aiming with your mouse, which you use to aim your gun and sword attacks. The overall gameplay is good, but there are some issues I have with it. Don't go into this game expecting an incredible story. Much of the story is left for the player's own interpretation. There is zero dialogue between any characters. The music is fine, it was mostly quiet and more ambient environmental sounds, which fits with the game's story, which is extremely minimalistic.

That was the first thing that caught my attention when I saw this game and it's likely that's also the first thing many others noticed as well. The visuals are unique and have a strange neon sci-fi aesthetic. 11h PlayedA short top-down action adventure game.
